RTR PRIVACY STATEMENT

Ready-to-Run Software, Inc. (RTR) has created this privacy statement (“Policy”) in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy.

General Privacy Policy
RTR is sensitive to privacy issues on the Internet and is committed to protecting your privacy on our website. RTR takes reasonable precautions to keep all information obtained from our online visitors secure against unauthorized access and use.  Periodically, we will review all of our security measures. The following discloses the information gathering and dissemination practices for the RTR website:

Protection of Personal Information
Personal information means any information that may be used to identify an individual, including, but not limited to, a first and last name, email address, a home, postal or other physical address, other contact information, title, industry, and other such information.

In general, you can visit and browse the RTR website to access information while remaining anonymous and not revealing any personal information. There are times, however, that we will ask you to provide certain information (such as your name and address) so that we may provide sales or technical support assistance, to fulfill your request for RTR company and product information or to make you aware of any new products or services that you might be interested in.

RTR collects personal information when you register with RTR for an RTR account, when you use certain RTR products or services or make an inquiry, when you register to participate in an online survey, when you ask to be included in an email or other mailing list, or you submit an entry for a sweepstakes or other promotions, or when you submit your information to RTR for any other reason. When personal information is collected, we will inform you at the point of collection the purpose for the collection. RTR does not intend to transfer your personal information to third parties without your consent.  Such consent will be considered granted to RTR upon acceptance of the EULA (“End User License Agreement”) for the FrontPage Server Extensions in which case the information that you supply at the time of acceptance may be made available solely to Microsoft as required for FrontPage license management.

We will always give you the opportunity to "opt out" of receiving direct marketing or market research information. This means we assume you have given us your consent to collect and use your information in accordance with this Policy unless you take affirmative action to indicate that you do not consent, for instance by clicking or checking the appropriate option or box at the point of collection or otherwise indicating your intention in the form provided. In some cases, when applicable, we will provide you with the opportunity to "opt in." This means we will require your affirmative action to indicate your consent before we use your information for purposes other than the purpose for which it was submitted. In any event, RTR will always provide you with the option to have any information that has been collected by RTR web pages to be removed from RTR e-mail listings, RTR databases or any related program.

Forms you fill out to interact with our business units may request that you give us sensitive information such as your e-mail address, mailing address, telephone number or a credit card number. Whenever that is the case, RTR will take all commercially reasonable steps to establish a secure connection with your Web browser. Within any RTR website, credit card numbers are used only for payment processing and will not be disclosed to any third parties.

Note that the RTR Web site may, at times, contain links to other RTR websites, partner websites or informational websites. Although we try to link only to Web sites that share our concern for customer information privacy, we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Information automatically logged

Like most web servers on the Internet, our servers collect and store all of the information that your web browser sends when it requests a web page, including:

*     the name, domain, and numerical internet address of the "host" computer (often a computer belonging to your Internet Service Provider and not your personal computer) from which you access the Internet

*     the date and time you accessed our site;

*     the Internet address of the web page that you came from

*     the page you requested from our site and the number of characters sent to your computer; and

*     the information your web browser software sends as its so-called "User Agent," which typically identifies the browser software and may also indicate the operating system and type of CPU used in your personal computer.

It is impossible to determine the actual identity of an individual user from this information.

The logs are periodically summarized and analyzed in order to study site usage over time and to perform other studies to help us improve the site's organization, performance, and usefulness.

RTR will use this information to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our Web site. This information is also obtained to allow us to determine statistical usage of the website and to improve the site’s organization, performance, and usefulness.

All such information is gathered globally rather than individually, and no information is linked to any identifying information about you.

Public Forums
This site makes forums and FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) web pages available to its users. Please remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal information.
