Chelmsford, MA. – June 6, 2002 -- Ready-to-Run Software (RTR) today has announced the general availability of the Microsoft^® FrontPage™ Server Extensions completed under an agreement with IBM for SuSE^® Linux^® on zSeries. IBM, a global leader in information technology, required support for the widely distributed web-publishing tool in order to complete the product offering for the robust zSeries mainframe as part of its continuing Linux initiatives.

Ready-to-Run Software, under a separate contract with Microsoft Corp., provides ongoing engineering, maintenance and related support services for the Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions within non-Windows configurations. Prior to general release, RTR worked through beta testing with two European giants who have made the leap to Linux running on the IBM zSeries platform. British Telecom, one of the world’s largest telecommunication providers, and Telia AB, Scandinavia’s largest telecommunications and internet service provider and the first European company to deploy a commercial system based on Linux, were the participants in the successful beta program with RTR.
